Once Upon a Christmas

Mackenzie Stone is a target.

After surviving four near-fatal attacks, the Stone Foundation brings in a bodyguard -- Diego Lopez, the man who saved her during the latest ambush.

Mackenzie fears the threat may be coming from within her own organization, so Diego goes undercover, posing as a college friend investigating nonprofit work.  Their close quarters create a smokescreen for the real danger, but they can’t ignore the intense attraction growing between them.

As sparks fly and the danger escalates, they find themselves struggling to keep their focus.  A visit to Diego’s family for Christmas only deepens Mackenzie’s inner turmoil -- torn between the warmth of the holiday she’s always avoided and the undeniable pull toward the man she’s falling for.

With the attacks closing in, Mackenzie faces an impossible choice.  Can she and Diego untangle the web of threats before the hidden enemy strikes again, or will the shadows consume them both?
